‘Palace of Medusa’ - Patrick J. Jones and Mindwork Studios

And here is my finished "Palace of Medusa" based on the artwork of the same name by @patrickjjonesillustrator sculpted by the team @mindwork.studio I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it! Painting this was quite possibly the most work I have ever done on a piece, with numerous layers going into each element and glazing to try to get as much depth as I could without making it look overdone. I loved the original and wanted to show it while amplifying the colour so it could be seen at its smaller scale, which proved to be quite challenging! March 2023
